Every year the National Portrait Gallery chooses a picture from its vast collection, which schools are then able to investigate and re-create in a variety of different contexts. This year the picture was; Mr & Mrs Andrews by Thomas Gainsborough. Across all age ranges we looked at a variety of different aspects of the picture. Some children investigated chairs, some looked at recreating the picture in different mediums, whilst others investigated the period in which Mr & Mrs Andrews lived and how it differed from our own historical period. On Friday 18th, we held an exhibition of all our hard work for our mums, dads and other relatives to come and see!
