How will I know that school will support my child?
Mrs Kealy oversees the support and progress of all children who require additional help across the school. She works closely with staff, families and external professionals to ensure every child receives the right provision to help them thrive.
Class teachers oversee, plan and work directly with each child who has special educational needs or disabilities. They carefully tailor learning, set targets and monitor progress to ensure each child continues to develop in all areas.
If your child has been given an IEP (Individual Education Plan), this will be shared with you once every half term, giving you the opportunity to review your child’s targets and progress. These plans will also be discussed at Parents’ Evenings and during specialised IEP meetings, ensuring you are fully involved in the support process.
