Class 5
Welcome to Class 5's page. The children in this class are in Year 5 and 6 and are taught by Mrs Fisher on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and by Mrs Philbin on Thursday and Friday. Our teaching assistant is Mrs Hicking.

Class 5 had great fun sharing their American chocolate chip cookies with thier buddies in Class 1.
As part of Safer Internet Day we have discussed what we can do to make the internet a better place for everyone to enjoy.
Have a look at the wonderful variety of topic homework that we have created.
We had great fun baking and eating our American Chocolate Chip Cookies! Yum!
Children chose different mediums to create a New York cityscape. Their work is proudly on display in our classroom.
A fastatic team went to a rowing compeition, they were amazing. We came away with an individual first place and were the runners-up overall.
Topic homework this term invovled the children finding out about deforestation and what we can do to help with this. Take a look at what we got up to!
Our wonderful baksetball team took part in a mini-basketball competition. They were all brilliant and we came away with another award for School Games values. This time it was for determination as the team grew in skill and confidence with each game that they played.

Some of our Year 5 children visited David Nieper Acadamy to take part in an art day. Here is what they got up to.
Our Year 5 and 6 Sports Leaders took part in some training to help them imporve how they support our younger children at lunchtimes.
This term we will be enjoying this book together.

Buddy Time
Class 5 met up with their Class 1 Buddies. They completed some leaf art together, shared a story and made some edible wands before finishing off the afternoon by enjoying "Room on a Broom" together. All the children were very well behaved and enjoyed meeting up.
