Autumn Term 2015/16
This term we are studying Chocolate! We will be learning about the Aztecs and going on a trip to Cadbury's World!
Spring Term 2015/16
This term we are studying China. We are going to learn all about the Shang dynasty, historic monuments, food and culture. We are planning a Chinese Banquet at the end of the term where you'll be able to see all the exciting work we've been doing, as well as tasting a few Chinese delicacies. You'll even learn what your name is in Chinese - so please come along. The date will be released after February half term.
Summer Term 2016
This term we are learning all about the Ancient Greeks. We are doing persuasive writing and learning about and making the Elgin Marbles - do you think they should stay or go back to Greece? Well we're going to have a debate about it and we'll let you know. We're also learning about how many things the Ancient Greeks have left us with that we still use today, like democracy! Unfortunately, we aren't going on a trip to Greece though.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
