In Maths we like to use lots of practical resources to aid our understanding.
Could a polar bear and camel swap homes?
In our Geography topic we have been exploring hot and cold places around the world. We have learnt about different types of weather, seasons and climates. Class 2 are now experts on how the equator effects the climate of countries.
This week we explored the Arctic and imagined we had been transported there. We spotted an Arctic hare, polar bears, 🐻❄️ and icebergs towering over the vast landscape. We also had a go at ice fishing, it was difficult hacking through the ice but we managed to catch some fish and we shared them among the villagers.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
