Our trip to Kelham Island

We had a wonderful day at Kelham Island. Our day began with us exploring some evacuee suitcases and making some suggestions as to who the cases might belong to. After that we had some time to explore the museum where we looked specifically at the World War II artefacts on display. After lunch we explored rationing and what that would have been like, we experienced what an Anderson Shelter would have been like and thought about what items might have be used in an air raid shelter.
