At South Wingfield Primary School, we take the safety of our children very seriously.  New updates from the government called Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023, has been fully implemented in the school and all staff are aware of how to be vigilant when looking for signs of abuse. The school building and grounds are very secure and visitors must sign in. Visitors who are not school staff or from the local authority are accompanied at all times whilst on the premises. 

Please ensure that if there is a change to the normal pick-up arrangements, either your child's class teacher, or the school secretary are made aware.  We will not allow children to be collected by minors, so please ensure older brothers and sisters are at least 16 before sending them to collect other children.
