Children in Need 2015
Wow! What an amazing day was had by everyone at South Wingfield Primary School to celebrate Children in Need 2015. A very special guest joined us alongside Radio Derby today - Pudsey!!! Some of our children were interviewed by Sally Pepper from Radio Derby and then got a chance to give Pudsey a great big hug, before taking part in our South Wingfield's Got Talent Competition. Our governors joined Mrs O'Hara to judge the competition and there were a range of fantastic acts; singing, dancing, gymnastics, playing an instrument and telling jokes to name just a few. Eventually, the judges decided that Niamh in Class 4 was the winner with her beautiful singing.
Later on after school, we had a Bring and Buy, plus a cake stall. We've not counted all the money yet, but we'll let you know as soon as possible how much we raised
WELL DONE EVERYONE!!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
